We're featuring our "guilty pleasure" because two of the pieces are local. The first is the blue "raglan pullover" from SPUN clothing, a Mercer Island-based organic clothing line started in 2008. SPUN was created by Sara Seumae when she realized that budget-friendly, organic clothing just wasn't accessible for fashion-conscious women. Seeing the void, Sara spent a year researching and educating herself on the industry before launching SPUN & striving to bring quality clothing to women that meets her three F's (it fits, flatters & is fashionable).
We love the SPUN collection because its comfortable clothing that is cute and versatile. We choose to sport the raglan pullover super comfy & lax but we've definitely seen it dressed up & more fashion-forward.
We married our raglan at Greenfest 2009 but you can get yours online & on sale at Greenloop.
Our second love is the feather headband from Frock Shop in Phinney Ridge. Feather headbands are nothing new, but if you don't already have one, we definitely think they are a great addition to a spring/summer wardrobe. We picked this one up for a mere $18 and love it- its femme, fun & flirty. While it definitely makes a statement its not overly loud or bold, which works for us. Our go-to style is definitely "subtle statement".
Our favorite part of Frock Shop - aside from being painfully cute - is the support of local designers. The owner & founder, Suzy Fairchild, is a Seattle designer herself and holds nearly 30% of her inventory for other local designers such as Lekkerlife. If you've never been, make your way over to Frock Shop. They carry everything from dresses, coats and shoes to purses and jewelry.

Awesome post! I'll have to check out Frock Shop...so I can pair something from there with my SPUN cowl neck shirt.
Also, I've met the designer from Lekkerlife (I own one of their jackets) and she's amazing. Just another reason to support local designers: they're down to earth, true-to-life good people.
Fun! Love the headband, it looks amazing with your hair color!
Jennifer Nicole - I think you'll really like Frock Shop. Let me know what you think when you go!
